FORMAT
Two four team divisions
Two Michigan teams will play in each division
Divisional round-robin pool play to determine medal round teams
All teams will play four or five games
20 players minimum per team; 22 player roster recommended


CHECK IN
Teams must check in at Southside Ice Arena on Thursday, August 3 from 3-5pm. Hockey parents/spectators will be able to pick up their Super Passes, Event Passes and Opening Ceremony tickets during this time.

Michigan players register individually. Regional tryouts will take place after the MHSAA State Playoffs in March.

Deposit of $500 due when registering to hold a spot, $500 non-refundable Team fees: All teams; $1,000 each

Michigan teams will be as follows: Team Metro South-West; Team Metro North-East; Team North-West and Team South-Central and one at large team.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Maximum of six hours of pre-event on-ice practices beginning no earlier than July 8th, 2017
All teams will have their own locker room during the tournament
NCAA D1 & ACHA Coaches presentation & pull-out meetings for players, parents, and coaches
Eligible players must have played High School hockey and been in grades 9-11 during the 2016-17 High School hockey season
Team (player) fee covers game jersey, socks, Opening Ceremony events, Athlete Village activities, team picture, college coaches event, souvenir puck, program, and t-shirt.


AWARDS
2017 State Games of America bronze, silver, and gold medals will be awarded to each winner player, coach and general manager


HOUSING
We are currently in the final discussion stage of securing dormitory housing at a local university for players, coaches and parents. More informationwill be released when available.
