The format will be determined by the number of entries in each division but will attempt to use the following format in each division:

The tournament will consist of pool play with two games to 25 points and a cap of 27 points (must win by two or first team to 27 points). Rally scoring will be used in all games. Bracket play will follow pool play with the number of teams advancing to bracket play determined after the entry deadline.

Teams advancing to the finals will play two out of three games to a score of 23 points and a cap of 25 points (must win by two or first team to 25 points). The third and deciding game will be rally scoring to 15 points and a cap of 17 points (must win by two or first team to 17 points.) Rally scoring will be used in all games.

Time:
Tournament rules, schedules and map will be posted online approximately four (4) days prior to competition.

Rules:
Current USA Beach Volleyball Rules will Apply *For Co-Ed teams both Males/Females must be represented, with more Females than Males being allowed for competition.

Roster:
A minimum of 2 players if participating in the 2 vs. 2 and max of 4 players.
A minimum of 4 players if participating in the 4 vs. 4 and max of 8 players.
A minimum of 6 players if participating in the 6 vs. 6 and max of 10 players.

The State Games of America reserves the right to combine divisions as needed based on registration numbers.

For a division to be held, there must be a minimum of three teams registered. This is an adult event. All players must be at least 18 years old as of July 30, 2022.

Adult | 6 v 6 | Coed

The State Games of America reserves the right to combine divisions as needed based on registration numbers.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three places in each division.

T-Shirts, credentials, and Super Passes can be picked up at the venue. Any purchased Opening Ceremony tickets can be picked up at Sukup South Endzone no later than 6:30 PM on Friday, July 29. For more information on the hours and location of Packet Pick-up, see below:

2v2:
$65/team if registered by March 1
$75/team if registered between March 2 - May 1
$85/team if registered between May 2 - July 11

4v4:
$125/team if registered by March 1
$135/team if registered between March 2 - May 1
$145/team if registered between May 2 - July 11

6v6:
$185/team if registered by March 1
$195/team if registered between March 2 - May 1
$205/team if registered between May 2 - July 11

Teams are not required to submit a roster during registration. All rosters must be submitted online no later than July 22.
